Meet our Team

  • Melody is the Founder and chief songwriter for Remedy Music. She enjoys creating, exploring and performing music on multiple instruments including piano, guitar and ukulele - as well as on an endless array of timbres in the studio. Melody grew up in the beautiful Margaret River region where she was inspired by the rich variety of landscapes. Her family is very musical so before she could talk she was singing. This grew into a passion for music and as Melody learnt the piano she developed into an avid songwriter. Troubled by the issues in the world, Melody always had a burning desire to use her life for a greater purpose. This lead her to pioneer ‘Ablaze Youth Southwest’ where young people could share their creative gifts, and find a place to belong. She also taught piano and vocals for 6 years whilst recording her first collection of EP’s, ‘The Findings’ (Previously ‘The Search’) - an epic story of searching for meaning in this world. It features an eclectic range of pop, rock, gospel, folk, spoken word, classical and rap. In 2018 Melody had the privilege of traveling to Nepal, Madagascar, Singapore, and Indonesia as a volunteer with Youth with a Mission; and to Cambodia with Nations Church when she was studying a Diploma of Leadership in 2015. In 2019 Melody followed her dream of studying in Melbourne, and commenced her Bachelors Degree at Victoria University, finishing it at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2022. Aside from hanging out with amazing people and creating the company of her dreams; Melody loves the ocean, sitting in gardens, exploring, dancing and writing. She also loves hosting guests, getting organised, trying new crafts, attending friends’ concerts and creating beautiful spaces. Melody is passionate about mental health and is looking forward to touring; spreading as much joy and hope around as she can.
